I love quick, easy to make recipes that are both nutritious and delicious. It saves me time and effort in the kitchen. As a busy woman myself, I understand the importance of convenient yet wholesome food. Join me on this trip, where I'll provide you with the tools and knowledge to make your life easier and a bit more fun. In these blog posts you’ll find food for the body and stories of culinary adventures I’ll be happy to share with you.
I wrote my first cookbook when I was pregnant. I had terrible nausea in the beginning, and many memories of the food I loved, and couldn't stand to eat, flooded my mind. Writing the book gave me relief. Many years later, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to change the way I fed myself. While recovering from surgery and during therapy, I looked for a guide to eat healthy and tasty food, but I couldn't find it. So I wrote it myself.

HOW TO GET INSPIRED AND BE HAPPY
We can argue endlessly. Still, at the end of the day, we need someone or something that can inspire us to go on. Music, people, stories that make us thrive and feel happier, more accomplished, stronger. More compassionate. A better version of ourselves.
When I cook a new dish, I get inspired. I enjoy deeply the focus that bringing to life a new recipe can give me. The wondrous suspension of time that putting together ingredients, manual labour and knowledge always brings into my days…
I KNOW WHAT’S THE FOOD OF LOVE
The epic question has finally got an answer for me. I found it as an epiphany while I was doing Tai-Chi the other day. I must confess right now: I am not the meditative type. Not at all. Just the idea of being still and breathe for twenty minutes in a row puts me on edge. But I like Tai-Chi, it involves breathing, of course, but also action and focusing on executing the sequences memorized to give my body and mind resilience and flexibility. Anyway, I was doing my morning Tai-Chi session and in the middle of it I thought of homemade bread.
“In the end, it’s never just about food. It’s about what food can do. A dish can carry memories. A table can create community. A chef can be a bridge — not just between flavours, but between people, ideas and generations”
About me
I was born in a very cold night. I remember it vividly: after all, I was there. Surviving the winter cold was my first won challenge: I beat pneumonia. An achievement that let me tell my story and all the ones that followed. I’ve been a storyteller since I can remember and I spent the last 25 years being a journalist, a food blogger and a writer. I believe in words to connect and inspire people to become who they want to be, overcome their fears, discover their personal strengths.
